Daegu is an inland city located on the south-eastern area of the country. It is the third largest inland city in South Korea, with over two and a half million citizens inhabiting the city. This great number of people could’ve flocked here as a result of the massive industrial estates that have been established in the area. Daegu is the capital city of Gyeongsangbuk-do province.
