Casa Milá in Barcelona
The Casa Milà structure was completed by Gaudi in 1910 and is now one of the most well-known attractions in Barcelona.
The method of construction means that no air conditioning system is needed, because Gaudi came up with an ingenious ventilation system. The wrought-iron balconies are each a unique piece of work. The rooftop terrace is also worth seeing, because there’s an excellent view of Barcelona from up there. The structure has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984.
