What is the difference between a car hire supplier and a car hire broker?

Car hire suppliers have their own fleet, pick-up stations, and usually confirm your rental booking immediately.

A car hire broker, on the other hand, does not have its own vehicle fleet or its own locations, but instead buys up large vehicle quotas from several car hire suppliers. Usually it adds attractive insurance benefits, resulting in an all inclusive package. Confirmation however may take up to 72 hours.

Are there last minute offers?

Although there may be times when un-booked vehicles are offered more cheaply in the holiday season, it is best not to rely on it.

There are usually no last minute offers within the car hire industry. This is why we recommend that you book as soon as possible and certainly no later than 2 weeks prior to your pickup date.

Comparing rates at the location will just be too costly in terms both of your time and your nerves, and more than likely you will have to book at a much higher rate.

Is there a cancellation charge?

As a special customer service, we will bear for you, up to 24h before the pick-up time of the rental, the cancellation charges. This is especially relevant when the cancellation terms of the car rental provider states something different.

If you cancel within 24 hours prior to rental, the regulations and conditions of the car rental provider prevail. Please note that in this case, cancellation charges may apply and as a customer, you have to pay them.

Please contact us if you have any questions.
