How old do I have to be to hire a car?

This always depends on the car hire firm and type of vehicle you want to hire.

In most cases the minimum age is 21. But the higher the vehicle category, the higher the minimum age. In most cases a charge is made for young drivers. You can find information on this in the terms and conditions of the car hire supplier.
