Car hire Arrecife information
Arrecife with its approx. 55,000 inhabitants (practically half of the overall population) is the largest city and the capital of
Lanzarote. Arrecife lies to the east of the island and possesses a major port for cargo and for ferries to the other islands and the mainland of
Spain. There is also an international airport here. For tourists, Arrecife is actually less interesting, unless you land here, get a hired car and start off on a trip around the island.
La Palma and
Gran Canaria are also worth a trip.
