Lithuania is one of the three Baltic States in northern Europe. It has been a member of the European Union since 2004. Lithuania has a road network that is currently being developed with the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipeda and Vilnius-Panevežys motorways and motorway links as well as the E67 “Via Baltica” from
Warsaw via Kaunas and
Riga to Tallinn and
