Car hire Bielefeld information

Bielefeld on the slopes of the Teutoburg Forest is a large city in North Rhine-Westphalia with approximately 325,000 inhabitants. Economically, the services sector is of primary importance, yet the once Hanseatic City of Bielefeld is also known for being the headquarters of Oetker, the food company. The city’s landmark and most famous structure is Sparrenburg Castle. The former town hall is part of the same architectural ensemble as the City Theatre, the largest theatre in Bielefeld. There are also a few historical residential buildings that more or less retained their original character following World War II. Most are located in famed Oberstraße and at the Old Marketplace. All of these sightseeing attractions can be easily included on a sightseeing tour of the city by hired car. Side trips to one of the museums in Bielefeld should also be planned. Thanks to the good Autobahn network in
Germany visits by hired car to nearby cities such as
